Some driving examiners who are members of the Public and Commercial Service (PCS) union are planning to take strike action on Monday 4 December and Tuesday 5 December 2017.
The way the car driving test works is changing on Monday 4 December 2017. These changes will still go ahead as planned.
DVSA will be emailing all candidates with a test booked on 4 and 5 December to give them the choice to either:
change their test appointment to a later date
turn up for their test as planned - but their examiner might be unavailable
Booking your driving test
Booking your driving test is an exciting time. But there are a few tips that will help you complete this smoothy and without the stress. One of the first things is keep in touch with your driving instructor so you can keep up to date with your instructors driving test availability. The other is keep checking to get the driving test date that you want.
Passing your driving test in Milton keynes is what Anna done today.
Every week Anna had driving lessons in Milton Keynes, along the way she passed her theory test and when Anna had reached the driving test standard we booked her driving test at the Bletchley driving test centre.
So congratulations to Anna for all her hard work improving week on week on her driving lessons and ending up passing her driving test.
What is happening to your clutch control is a short video showing the most common mistakes new learner driver do whilst learning to drive. It covers stalling the car, finding the biting point of the clutch pedal, setting the gas correctly.
The practice driving test(mock test to some people) can be a very useful aid to help develop the pupil. Up to that point they have been told that their driving lessons are going to plan and they are driving to a good standard.
So the practice driving test is the pupils chance to see how they can get on without the help of their own driving instructor.
This will also prepare them for the driving test with a driving test examiner.
How do you know you are ready for your driving test? Whenever you are learning to drive you are proberly asking yourself this question as you improve with your driving lessons.
Are you thinking about starting to learn to drive? Or have you just started learning to drive and want extra help at no cost?
The Free video tutorials on Learn-to-drive Travis on Youtube www.youtube.com/c/JamesTravis cover's a wide range of videos ranging from your first driving lesson to taking mock driving tests and finally taking the driving test and passing.
The video's are an aid to help you improve your learning to drive combined with your own driving instructor/driving lessons. Since its launch over a year ago the video's have helped hundreds of people with there driving lessons.
The video below is of the turn in the road manoeuvre which is one of the first driving manaoures that you will learn to do with your driving instructor. The turn in the road manoeuvre helps you combine clutch control and observations.
You have worked hard to get to the stage where your driving instructor has said, lets take your driving test. So this could take anything from 3 to 6 months with most pupils, to even longer with others to reach that point.
The driving test day arrives www.youtube.com/c/JamesTravis and you are full of confidence, so what can go wrong. Hopefully nothing.
But if you talk to your friends who have failed there driving test you will more than likely hear I failed in the first few minutes. So I am hoping this video will help you on your driving test day. Good luck.
Taking your driving test is a nerve wracking experience, no matter how much of a confident driver you are. But what if your postcode has an impact on your chances of passing your practical driving test? UK driving test pass rates are a hot topic of discussion, and there are plenty of stats out there telling different stories, for example you may be more likely to pass if you live in a rural area.
But what about how driving schools across the country are improving driving test pass rates? A lot can change in five years, so we have taken data from driving test centres across the UK and compared those figures to pass rates in 2011 – the results were quite revealing…
If you are a new driver and you are unfortunate to get on your licence 6 or more points within 2 years of passing your test you will get your licence revoked. There is lots of reasons to get penalty points on your driving licence. This can vary from a speeding fine to mobile phone use.
